Pimp (August 2009) update: Filming is finally going ahead the first week of August 2009. Robert is sharing
the producing hat with Royd Tolkien. Billy Boyd might make an appearance in this production!
The Water's Edge (February 2009): Robert performed in a production of The Water's Edge at the Arcola Theatre in London.
Pimp: Scratched Inside (October 2008): Robert is back in London where casting is in progress for his newly scripted film project.
He will also produce, direct, and act. "It's a week in the life of a pimp in Soho as seen through the eyes of a documentary camera."
No cast names are being announced until they are confirmed. Filming is tentatively scheduled to begin mid-January 2009.
Update - Soccer Mom (May 2008): The first trailers are now available online for this movie, however, Robert does not appear in the trailer. Release of the movie is tentatively scheduled
for end of September 2008.
Pimp (January 2010) update: According to an article in the online Shetland Times, "...the Robert Cavanah film Pimp: Scratched Inside, starring
Danny Dyer and Billy Boyd [is] to be aired in over 200 cinemas across the UK in March."
Soccer Mom (February 2008): Robert has confirmed that he has a role (Harry) in the upcoming American feature film, Soccer Mom, a family comedy that is currently in production. The story centers around a soccer mom, played by Missi Pyle, who disguises herself as an Italian soccer star who's been hired to coach her daughter's (Emily Osment) soccer team to help them win the big tournament.
Los Angeles (January 2008): Robert made the move to L.A. to try his luck in Hollywood! He is already developing a couple of projects.
